FL Connect is a small German indie project. We collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers. This policy explains what we store and why.
Pascal Huber, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. Contact: [email protected]. Full details are in our Impressum.
Account data. Your username, email, and authentication tokens · needed to sign you in and keep your session active.
Session data. Connection metadata to route a live session between you and the people you invite. Video, audio, and the mouse stream are sent peer-to-peer and are not recorded by us.
Chat and files. Messages and shared files are end-to-end encrypted. We store the encrypted blobs only so they reach the recipient; we cannot read them.
Diagnostics. If you submit a bug report, the attached logs are stored so we can investigate. Crash and security telemetry is minimized and aggregated.
We set only what we need to keep you signed in and remember preferences. See our Cookie notice for the breakdown.
Sign-in is handled through our authentication provider. Payments, if you subscribe, are processed by our payment provider · we never see your full card details. STUN servers are used to help two peers find each other; the media itself stays peer-to-peer.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Account data is kept while your account exists. Encrypted chat and files are removed when deleted or when the account is closed. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as needed to resolve the issue.
We'll update this page if our practices change and note the date at the top.
